Just A Couple More .....

Somewhere on the way to Florida, before the "I'm Thirsties" and the "Are we there yets" hit. There were more than a few hairy moments, but that smile proves it was worth it.

My nephew Zack and Daniel hamming it up in Palm Coast, FL

GA Pics

Argh! I cleaned out all the old temp files, pics etc. off my hard drive and apparently went overboard and deleted something I shouldn't have. Now my "click and drag" don't work. So far it has affected my solitaire games and my Photo Filter program. So while I am kicking myself in the butt over this, here are some pictures of my visit to Teresa's house on St. Patrick's Day:

Suzanne and Caitlin (Who would have thought stamping was so exhausting?)

When I showed this off at work Y'all got a good compliment - someone asked if these were my younger sisters.

Update from class

Hey people. Ihave to make this quick before my teacher catches me.

OK, at school I finished my first class but because I need to have a first period Iim stuck in here for awhile. So I usually end up farting around on the net when no ones looking, and sleeping alot. Things are going good in my other class, I just started the arcitecture phase and designed a single bedroom house (minus plumbing, heating, AC, electrical, etc.) Job corp has given everyone at AFOC a 7th period class. Its called study skills and it involves doing absolutely nothing other than go on the internet and study whatever friggin webpage we see, Its boring as hell and a waste of friggin time. When I only had AFOC classes I could gett to the dorm early if necessary or play warcraft at the library, now when I need to do laundry I have to wait in friggin line most of the time and I onlly get about an hour on the library internet a day. Speaking of which, The wireless internet has gotten cut at grandmas. Now every saturday me and Hector venture down to the long beach library to play world of warcraft. Later today I shall venture downtown in an attempt to retreive hectors long overdue birthday gift. I originally ordered a movie called DeathNote from overseas but the store apparently never got it (though I personally think they sold it) but my freind recently told me of a different store that may have it so Im gonna go scope it out. If they dont have it I'll just give Hector money (of which I will borrow most of back.)

I Survived the Road Trip!

We made it back to Tennessee without leaving the kids at the road side all though we were close to it a few times. You know what they say though, what does not kill us will make us stronger. After seven days on the road with those little stinkers I ought to be one tough broad by now.
Seriously though, we had a blast. We started out early Saturday morning and drove to Palm coast, FL and stayed the night with our nephew and his Family. My sister in law was visiting too so that worked out real well. Palm Coast is gorgeous and I was drooling over many of the houses there. I miss the old stucco homes with the Spanish tile roofs. We then drove down to Lutz (some where outside of Tampa) and spent the week visiting Gary's daughter and some of his old high school buddies. We also went to the beach and collected a ton of sea shells. Nothing screams tourist like as set of pasty white legs! I had my first Cuban Sandwich too. I am hooked. We then drove to Douglasville on the way back and in spite of the rush hour traffic and beingthisclose to getting lost on the detour we did manage to make it to Teresa's house for a visit and ended up staying the night. (Thank you again Sis - VERY much). By the way, Gary the former greyhound hater loves Grayson. He was using Lea Anna tactics to get Gary to pet him. I miss everyone already, but I am glad to be off the road.
I broke one camera on the road, bought a broken one (scroo yoo WalMart), and got my exposed film mixed with my unexposed film but when I get it all sorted out I'm hoping to have some pics to post.

housewifin' it

Well, it's now a matter of public record, I am a married woman. I kept it a secret for a while, hoping to replace my courthouse wedding with a real one, but the secret's out. I still want to have a real wedding ceremony, but planning it is proving harder than I thought and I don't know of a wedding planner willing to work within my budget.
For now, my plans are on hold, but since I have recently become unemployed (by choice) I have more time to devote to planning. I am really enjoying my time at home, but I need to get my resume together so I can find at least a part-time job. I have really been able to get our house in shape, but another week of this and there won't be much left to clean. Besides, a girl needs shopping money, right?
Well, there's not much else to tell, hope this wasn't too much of a shock to anybody. And hey, it could be worse...I could be a Democrat.

Close Encounter of the Special Kind

I've seen this guy a couple of times in the Douglasville Independence Day parades. He is so...unusual...that I couldn't exactly figure out where he was coming from. Kids that saw him in the parade were entertained. A few rednecks just shook their heads and called him fruity. I met him last night at the skate park (I was on a quest for a helmet and pads) and now I see where he is coming from (sort of). He's "special." And apparently his talents extend to rollerblading. Amazing.

Another Conspiracy Theory

Since there's a fellow Star Wars geek on this website I thought a few of us might find this interesting. I thought it was a both of funny and just plain absurd:

http://www.websurdity.com/2007/02/28/uncomfortable-questions-was-the-death-star-attack-an-inside-job/

So Adrian, was the attack on the death star an inside job? Enquiring minds want to know.....

Getting Some Flack

I got Lea Anna's hair cut into a cute little page boy haircut. Boy did I get some flack when I got home! The guys are still grumbling. Yeah, little girls look cuter with long hair. But let THEM hold her down screaming to comb it very night. No one has stepped up to the plate for that job in the past four years. And it covers up hack job little missy did to herself last fall. I stand by my original statement - She looks gorgeous.

"For the first time, I feel so...Wicked."

I saw the musical WICKED yesturday!!! (It's about the witches of Oz!) It was showing at the Pantages in Hollywood!

It was soooooo AWESOME!!!

I entered the ticket lottery with my friend Mike, so we could win cheap Orchestra seat tickets and we ended up getting some!!! We go tickets for the VERY FRONT ROW for only $25 a pop, an normally seats like that are in the $100s, so we were REALLY F***IN' LUCKY!!!

That was also my first time EVER seeing a musical on stage...and it was GREAT!!!

I want it on DVD, SO BAD!!!!!

After the show, me and Mike hung around near the stage entrance/exit outside and got to meet some of the cast! I met and got autographs from Megan Hilty (Glinda the Good), Eden Espinosa (Elphaba, Witch of the West), Kristoffer Cusick (Fiyero-Elphaba and Glinda's boyfriend...guy...It makes sense in the story, trust me), Jenna Leigh Green (Nessarose-Elphaba's sister, Witch of the East). YAY!!!!!

I'm gonna enter the lottery and try to see it again! IT WAS SO AWESOME!!!!!
