Shutterfly
After my trial of some of the online photo services with David's Basic Training photos, I have to say that Shutterfly's prints are a lot better quality than the ones I got from Kodak Gallery. Shutterfly is supposed to be a little more expensive (according to Consumer Reports, who also said they had the best prints), but I didn't think their pricing was out of line. Both sites let you order stuff (like mouse pads, coffee mugs, etc.) with your photos on them, which can make cool gifts.
If you sign up for either you'll get 10 or 15 prints free. There may be other services out there that will give you free prints as well. You'll have to pay for shipping on them, but it was under $2 for each of my orders. You can either send in rolls of film or upload digital photos, so it is pretty convenient. With Kodak, you can order prints and pick them up locally, like at CVS for example.
It wouldn't hurt to sign up for a few, take the free prints, and see which service you think is best. If you do that, post and let everyone know which one you liked.
