I don't remember Cookie ever having puppies!
She was pregnant when we found her.
My dad took all of the puppies to the pound shortly after the time the photo was taken. Cookie was crying after them and we were heartbroken, too. Guess it was unrealistic to think we could keep them.
That poor dog endured so much crap from all of us.
The puppies didn't all go to the pound.The pet shop took the curly haired ones.
Oh, yeah - I had forgotten about the pet shop! I guess it would be an impossible thing to trace, but I wonder what they looked like and if, like Cookie, they were someone's beloved childhood pet.
