Whassup, homes?
Here are the two homes that Steve and I will be making an offer to purchase on. Since we are equally happy with both, we'll settle on whichever one counter-offers the best. The first one is beautiful inside, but has NO GRASS! If we buy, they will put some down for us though. The second has a big beautiful fenced in back yard for the doggies, and a TRAMPOLINE! I love it, but would want to put some work into the interior to make it more open. Here's to hoping one of our offers goes through!

YAY MANDY! I like the second one best. It's prettier(I can't help it, I like blue)and has trees and a fence. On the other hand, the first one has a bigger porch. Just think, when you and Steve are old and crotchety you can sit on your rocking chairs and yell at the young whipper-snappers who ride their bikes across your lawn!
Nah, we'll never yell at young whipper-snappers. We spend all our time yelling at each other.
Let's hope that will change. Then Steve will be riding his bike across the lawn with the young whippersnappers. Or maybe his adult tricycle since he will be an old man.
I love them both but the first does have a bigger porch and they will plant grass. I had a bigger porch on our first house and miss it. I do like the color on the second house, a little more creative. Good luck!
I vote for #2 (AND I MEAN THE HOUSE, YOU SICKOS!) as well...
The first house is nicer IMO, but I like the fact tha there are trees around the other one (unless I just can't see the trees in the first one... 0_o)
Jazzy, there really aren't any trees around the new construction. It is in the country by a corn field, and there are woods behind the house, but I mean WAY behind it. Looks like we're trying to get the blue house at this point.
Did ya get it yet?
Looks like they've accepted our offer to purchase, and we have to deal with getting a favorable loan now. I don't know how we're going to afford $1,000 a month mortgage payment without me getting a second job.
Here's how: Steve gets the second job.
Is the truck almost paid off? You could do the payments relatively easily with both of you working if you didn't have two car payments. Otherwise, yes - it's tough.
I wish I could help : (
