Congratulations! Hopefully Steve and I will join the club soon too.
Yeah - finally! Woo-hoo!
I can't believe you were this close and kept it to yourself.
We need more pictures. More pictures! More pictures! More pictures!
I can't believe It was this easy either - at least without settling for a shack. I just met with the new realtor Wednesday and looked at two other houses Saturday before I found this.
Mandy - I suspect we'll be celebrating your first house purchase sooner rather than later. And we're gonna want pictures!
Yeah!!! It looks great. No more someone telling you that you can't have a sand box for your kids. Gary can work on your cars at will. You can also paint your rooms purple if you choose, although I think Gary will have an objection.
And, she can finally give that green thumb a workout with a garden that's not in containers.
Congratulations, Lisa!
OMG! CAN I LIVE IN THE BASEMENT?!!
THAT'S SUCH AN AWESOME HOUSE!
Jazz, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Half of it opens to the back yard, via a Garage door. I imagine Gary will claim that portion. We'll have to duke it out over the rest of it ;)
I'm looking forward to reclaiming Mr. Turtle. This time though, I'm putting him way further away from the house. It's amazing how far sand travels.
JazZY-JazZy-JazZy!
Momma the girl needs to come home! Besides, you can make her pay rent so you can have more money to do makeovers and buy expensive plants.
Ooh Teresa - I like your idea!
Pft! I can't get a job NOW... What makes you think one is gonna magically appear if I move back to TN???
You need to intern, missy. Voice of experience here.
They may pay you nothing or they may pay you minimum wage. But if you do a good job and they like you they will give you a good reference for a real job or maybe even hire you themselves. Ask at school where you can go to find information on available internships. You get credit for it, too, and usually only have to write a paper or two about the experience.
Your situation is such that you need a job but in order to get a job you have to have experience but you don't have experience because you haven't had a job. So suck it up now and work for free for someone good and you will find that it will pay off later.
