Nashville Zoo
I took the kids to the zoo yesterday. It was fun, but even Daniel was wore out from all that walking. Lea Anna's favorite was the lemurs. As soon as she saw them she (and every other preschooler) yelled ZABOO! I liked the meerkats. They are the cutest little rodents I have ever seen. Every time a plane flew over head, the whole group stood on their hind legs and peered up at the sky with their snouts pointed up. They all had that "what the $%@$ was that?" expression. The tigers were cool also. They 
were feeding them blood popsicles. That was more information than I needed, but 
that's what I get 
for asking the zoo keeper.

Sorry there is not enough blood & gore for you Adrian. Between the disposable camera and my limited photography skills, the tiger picture did not come out very good. The Nashville Zoo is small and does not have bears, lions or crocodiles. They are building an alligator exhibit that will be open this coming spring.

Actually, that sounds like it would be a cool Halloween treat... You could dress up as a vampire and hand out blood popsicles to the children. They can come in cherry, tropical punch, rasbery, and strawberry flavors! YUM!
