You thinks correctly, my dear child. Which may be why they gave up and didn't try to get new doors - Daewoo parts were incredibly hard to come by when my car had to be repaired.
Still, you'd THINK they'd get a professional to repair it if they were going to bother at all. Or at least sand the Bondo smooth.
