Talked to Amanda this afternoon, and for the second weekend in a row she planned to drive up to Virginia and visit David at Fort Lee. David will get his first off-base pass since joining the Army this weekend, and they planned to celebrate by getting tattoos. Oy vey. Well, in some weird kind of way I guess it's a form of bonding. I told her to bring us pictures : O

oh, good god...
I've learned that David did, in fact, get a tattoo, although Amanda ran out of time. According to Amanda, David got his dog tag - including his Social Security Number - tattooed on his upper arm.
You'd think the boy would be a little more cautious about his SSN with identity theft running rampant.
Amanda says she's making him get it lasered off when he comes back to Atlanta. That's my bossy girl : )
