Happy Valentines Day Y'all! I hope you had a good one - with lots of chocolate. And flowers, but especially CHOCOLATE.

Brian took me to lunch at No Mas Cantina where I had my chocolate in a most unusual dessert: chocolate chile cake. It was good! Plus I got beautiful flowers in a cool-looking mosaic vase (kind of like the candle holders Janet has made). Yay for chocolate! Yay for flowers!

I didn't get flowers but I got chocolates and Gary cooked dinner for me, so no complaints there. He's awesome.
A few people thought it'd be fun to exchange valentines at work like we did when we were kids, so everyone in our department passed out valentines. I gave out Hello Kitty ones. It was just as fun as in elementary school. My highlight was when the head honcho of our department passed out Nsync valentines. You got to love a guy with a sense of humor like that.

I got Luby a bunch of stuff, but we had some problems with some of it. Here's the breakdown:

1) Giant Teddy Bear
2) Case of Hershey's Chocolate Bars
3) Roses
4) Millennium Season 3
5) Desperate Housewives Season 2
6) Curve Crush Gift Set
7) Two LUSH Bath Bombs

I sent Luby the case of Hershey's bars because that's pretty much the only kind of chocolate she eats. It got there on time, but USPS must have had an office soccer game with the box because it was trashed. A new case is on the way, but we'll see if it gets there in one piece.

The roses, however, got there a day late. I tried repeatedly to get ahold of FTD.com and the local flower distributor, but to no avail. Neither will return my phone calls or emails. Never use FTD!!! 1800Flowers.com is a much better bet.

We're still waiting on the bath bombs to get there, but Amazon told me it could take this long. Oh well... I think I did pretty good anyways.

Holy moly, Dave - even with the delivery problems Liubinka got spoiled rotten. Good job : )

I got a Lush catalog by accident a while back and wanted to buy about 27 different things. They're girly - with attitude - something most, if not all, of the girls in this family can appreciate (especially me!).
