Snow Jam '07
I've come up with a simple algebraic formula to more accurately predict snowfall in Middle Tennessee - a x b /c = n. Take the amount of inches predicted by your favorite network news meteorologist, multiply it by the number of spastic people in the Kroger milk isle, divide it by the number of even more frantic women searching for shopping carts in the parking lot, and the answer is two. Two as in the seemingly only two snow flakes that actually fell. Sound like Atlanta to Y'all? Sorry you didn't get a snow day out of it Daniel - I didn't either! Well, we are out of trashbags and they are predicting snow again tonight. Gary's turn to go shopping!

Yes, that sounds remarkably like Atlanta.
One of our clients in Greenville, SC let us know she was out of the office because of the weather, but we got no snow. There was some freezing rain on the deck, but the whole thing looked pretty darn slushy when I got up this a.m. so I figured I wasn't getting the day off of work. That's okay...I'm sure my (snow) day is coming : )
Hope you guys actually do get a snow day tomorrow!
Bah! You'll all live!
You think there's any snow in CA? Of course not!
You don't need a snow day...
Ah, but I heard there was snow in CA a week or so ago, and that y'all were freezing your patooties off. Was it all just a hoax perpetrated by the East Coast media?
Surprise! We really did have snow this time around. It just goes to show you that even the worse predictions occasionally come true. There was an inch or so on the ground in the morning so Daniel had his long awaited snowday. I went to work anyway, inspite of my legitimate fears of turning the daycare at the bottom of the hill into a drive-thru (that itty bitty hill at the bottom of our driveway is really steep and was very slick) or having some nondriving idiot plow into me. You just can't get it through some people's thick skulls that just because they salt the roads does not mean you can still go 80!
Big Bear doesn't count! People go there for vacation!
Big Bear may not count, but Malibu and San Diego County do!
I've NEVER heard of t snowing in Malobu OR San Diego!!!
