I am pretty sure he was hired to cover up the crappy graffiti that gang-bangers and wanna-bes had left on the building.
Not long after I posted the first photo of his work on the building, some loser came along and spray painted on the wall, covering part of the cool painting. I think the artist was invited back to cover up the tagger's crap.
The painting of the angst-ridden guy is cool, especially when you consider that it was all done with cans of spray paint. It's too bad the painting of the guy crouching against the wall was obliterated, though.

Tagging normally disgusts me but this guys stuff is cool. He needs to come to Nashville and cover up all the c**p on the buildings here.
