David will be arriving at Fort Hood Monday. Angela and I are hitting the road tomorrow morning to drive to Killeen so we can be there to meet him. I'm thankful he'll be back, safe and sound, very soon.
He's not on leave but there is no such thing as being "home for good" in the Army, at least not these days. Hopefully it'll be a while before he's deployed again.
He's had his MOS (i.e., "job") changed and will be trained for his new MOS in a few months, I believe. I don't know if that makes him more or less likely to be deployed sooner.

Yay! Is he home for good or just on leave?
