First Tomato
You can't convince me a Roma is not a beautiful thing. I've been fighting grasshoppers & cicadas, now my garden is finally starting to make a comeback. Now if my peppers will get some blooms on them before it gets too hot we'll have the ultimate veggie of all - SALSA!

Did you hear about the tomato scare in california? Apparently most of our tomatoes are tainted with salmonella. I went to get a sandwich and they wouldnt put any tomatoes because they were recalled. Oh well.
I did. Mine will be salmonella free. I just have to wait about 3 weeks for it to get ripe. Two months and I'll have watermelon to go with it.
