Way to go Sis! I like the trophies. They are so ridiculously tacky that they end up being cool. Did they use your recipe? That stuff you brought to the reunion several years ago was GOOD. I am suddenly having a chili craving now.
Funny thing you mentioned Chili. I was just going to make some on Monday. I use a mix though.
No, I had nothing to do with the recipe...I like my chili better! But this was good. Just very greasy and needed more cumin. But nice meat and just the right amount of heat. Maybe I'll make my chili New Year's Eve.
Jonna, I'm surprised you use a mix but I used to. Chili is easy because you just start throwing stuff in the pot and if it doesn't taste right you throw in whatever you think it lacks.
Seems like making a pot of chili is the first thing I think of when the weather turns cold : )
