Nothing More Precious
And now for a moment of serious refection
For in matters of the heart there can be no deflection
No point in hiding behind a fool's facade
When loved ones stare behind pearly gates at God
After no doubt much struggle, grandma passed away
Feels as if I was pestering her only yesterday
Though a past, to me, shrouded in mystery
You know, to me, that's just ancient history
Grandma, you see, was a woman of care and strength
A list of such love would grow a great length
They say that death is part of life and living
I say what's more important is what you have to be giving
So don't think of loss and death on tombstone first sight
Remember her precious gift, the gift of love she left behind.
