How to get what you want for Christmas
Just kidding! But kissing Santa Claus was too good an opportunity to pass up.Brian and I volunteered last weekend for the Petsmart Pictures with Santa to raise money for Southeastern Greyhound Adoption. We met some sweet - and not-so-sweet - doggies, as well as some "Best In Show"-type owners who had dressed their dogs up for the occasion. Some of the dogs were not happy about the situation and freaked out when they were handed to Santa Brian. Others were really excited. One was so excited he peed on the fur trim on Santa's suit!

Aww, you look so cute! A few dogs may tolerate it, but I can't imagine a pet who actually likes to be dressed up. Too bad they took it out on Brian instead of the owners. If it's any consolation, imagine how many times mall Santas get nailed.
shoulda scotch-guarded the suit. any other aminals got their picture took with santa or was it just doogies? i'd hate for a discrimination complaint to be filed against y'all. and how do you kiss something covered with hair? yukk
The beard was pretty nasty smelling but since I didn't have to wear it, a quick kiss was the least I could do ; )
Thankfully, only doggies showed up during our shift. Santa B would have just loved any kitties, I'm sure. I seem to recall him saying something about seeing how far they could fly...
My cats are sweet..Anabelle wouldn't let anyone near and Henry loves everyone. Although he did fly through the air a few years ago when Charles was in bed sleeping and moved. Henry thought his toe was a mouse and bit it. Henry hasn't made that mistake again.
