No Fiestasmas for Us :(
As it turns out, our on-again-off again New Years plans have been scrubbed for good. Jazzmin's plane is leaving an hour (and a day) earlier than I thought so there's just no way we'll make it back to the airport in time. I'll miss you all and I hope you'll have a margarita or two for me.

You having to fly out from Nashville on New Year's Day at 10:30 a.m. was an understandable dealbreaker. Sure, y'all could do it, but in combination with everything else it wouldn't have been a good idea - especially given that one of the factors in your mom's decision was that her car needs new tires.
I hate that you guys are this close and I'm not gonna see you, but I'd also hate for anything to happen to you en route, or on the way back, y'know? Hope we'll get to hang out before too much longer.
I'm proud of you and excited that you are starting college : )
