The route I take and the times I travel usually let me escape crap like this. But throw a little rain into the mix and it throws off the eejits who should be restricted from driving in any conditions except daylight on dry, straight stretches of road devoid of wildlife crossings and without cell phones or other passengers in the vehicle as distractions.
I hopped off when I made it to the next exit and took surface streets home, and it took me less than an hour. When the office was next to Lenox Square I'd have been stuck in that soup for 2.5 hours.

I rarely deal with LA traffic because I take the train (just about) everywhere I go...
Har! Har! Har!
Where do they have one of THOSE in GA?!
MARTA trains are everywhere...everywhere except where I need to go on a regular basis.
