Christmas Likes to Bite Everyone in the Uranus

Seriously. It does.

So, I'm getting started now.

I want to make ALL presents this year, so I need your measurments 'n' what-not.

If you want a SKIRT, send me your waist and hip measurments, along with how long you would want it.

If you want a TOP, send me your shirt size and your bust, waist, torso, etc. measurments.

However, if you want something like a blanket or pillow, I can make those too.

You can leave me the info in the comments, or send them to my e-mail.

Be sure to give me ideas. I.e-what color you like, fav. animal or flower.

I already know what I'm doing for the kiddies. I'm SUPER excited to start making it! (I really want to say what it is, but I can't because they might see the blog!)

Here's my Wish-List this year. As always, I love movies and can never really think of anything else other than that or craft stuff. At least I'm pretty low maintenance...

Cute Robot. Pictures, Images and Photos

I can't wait to hear from everyone and see you all for Christmas!

Happy Birthday Adrian

Happy Birthday Adrian! Twenty years ago on this day and adorable little baby boy was born with big brown eyes, gorgeous curls, and chubby cheeks that would save him from many butt whippings (but never from the wrath of his big sister).

Adrian's Birthday Horrorscope:

SCORPIO
October 23-November 21
You need to force yourself to engage in social activities that lie outside of the ordinary****. Friends and family members visit from out-of-town, so explore the season’s happenings. Watch their awe as you navigate your way through the social scene. At work, expect a promotion or raise. Your superiors are paying attention to you, the company’s rising star. On a different note, this month heats up your love life. If you are single, you will meet a new love interest almost definitely. Keep your sights in focus and attuned to your ideals to draw in that special someone.

****I think this means you need to cut down on World of Warcraft

More Halloween Fun

Daniel as usual wanted to be something creepy so I handed him a make up kit and a roughed up shirt and he was ready to go. Lea Anna was better at suckering me into some actual work - at the last minute she handed me her poncho and told begged me to let her be a cheetah. I had just enough material left to make her a tail and some ears. She was so excited about it (crooked tail and all) that it more than made up for the last minute rush.

These were taken Saturday at a party we took the kids to. Inspite of everything going on and all the food, the kids spent most of the time on the trampoline.

Now This is How You Carve a Pumpkin

After hacking hopelessly away with a dull steak knife, Gary came to the rescue with his reciprocating saw. Yeah, it would have came out neater if I had went through the trouble of buying a carving kit but it wouldn't have been nearly as much fun. If you need a handy tip for next year, a 1/4 " drill bit makes perfect pupils. It works great for nostrils too.

*Sigh* A Whole Year 'til Next Halloween

Hello, Family!

School is good and work is great.

The only major new thing in my life is that I started sewing more again (now that I finally rescued my machine from Grandpa's).

I've been altering shirts 'n' what-not... I even started making vests, shrugs, and button-down dresses/tops (like the kind that Dickies makes).

NE-wayz... I thought I'd post pics of my Halloween costume for everyone. Yay!

So, this year I went as a Mad Scientist.

This is my costume. (I know it is pretty "showy", but I had to take that I was going clubbing in consideration and that it would get hot. However, it's still not as revealing as some of the other costumes I saw. 0_0)

It looks better when I have my lab coat on. (Unfortunately this blurry crud is the only decent picture I have of me wearing it. Gah!)

This is a picture of my lab coat. (I altered a green trench coat I got off of eBay.)

My favorite part of my costume is my "Cyborg Eye" goggles. I rigged it up myself using a mini light from one of the candy displays at work. The light actually blinks too!!!

Last, but not least... Every Mad Scientist needs an experiment, so I made cat backpack I found at the Goodwill into my Franken-Critter, so I'd have something cool to carry my candy 'n' stuff in. (Mwuah ha ha!)

BEFORE

AFTER

I hope everybody did something fun for their Halloween! I know I enjoyed myself greatly!

Next year, I will probably dress as Evil Emperor Zurg from Toy Story 2.

If not, I'm at least going to attempt to make the costume for the sake of making it...just beacause it's cool.
