I've got spirit! Yes, I do! :-P

School spirit, that is... Lol.

I joined some clubs at El Camino and I'm excited because I meet with my first one today. ^_^ I joined the Fashion, Graphic Design, and Rotaract clubs. (FYI: Rotaract is community service... I may or may not go to this club regularly simply because the other two seem like more fun.)

Today's meeting is the for the Tailor Made Fashion Club. (I don't like the name... It reminds me of that dude from I <3 NY, but I'm sure they had their name first, so I'll get over it. >_>) I'm so excited! Their fashion club sponsors (or, whatever...) fashion shows at El Camino 'n' stuff! It will also be good to meet other people that sew, because I can probably learn some new things from them or collaborate or whatever...

Yeah... I'm just really excited... I wanted to join clubs at LACC, but they didn't have ANY that I liked; they were all pretty whack. They had, like, 3 different Christian clubs, a Buddhist club, a club for African-American and Asian students, etc... They didn't have anything FUN or beneficial to me, like a FILM or ART club. Pfft!

Other than that, I have my second German class next Tuesday. So far we've been learning about family titles, nationalities, and a few other verbs. I'm kind of excited for this as well... I REALLY want to get an A! >_<

(Son of a b****... I just realized that my hands are kind of shaking from all the weight lifting in PE class. 0_0 Hm... I don't think that's bad. I think they just need to rest and typing is not restful. NE-wayz...)

That's all for now!

The Jazz Train is Back in Town! w00t! w00t!

So yeah, I started my Fall semester at El Camino. Yay!

I am taking full course-load that includes Pre-Algebra (which is lame, but I have a hard time when it comes to reg. Algebra, so I figured taking a step back would help. I hope it works. 0_0), German, Film/Video Production and Clothing Construction. (I also added a couple PE classes, so I'd be able to work out...which I miss doing.)

So far, I've had a good first week.^_^ The only thing that bugs me are my Math and Clothing Construction classes because I am advanced in both, and I can't stand waiting until we get to the more challenging stuff. Like, in CC, for example, the first thing we make is a needle book...which is HAND SEWN and hate hand sewing. >_< THEN we make kiddie PJ pants, which is lame, 'cause I already know how to do that too. :-/ *sigh*

BUT, NE-WAYZ...

The COOL thing about CC class is that it's practically MANDATORY for me to go to JoAnns. YAY! X-D Next Tuesday, we have a mandatory class field trip there, so the teacher can help us (and by us, I mean the n00bie, inexperienced sewers >_>) get supplies. I, being the good student that I am, went earlier today and got some supplies. (I already owned a vast majority of what was on the list, so I didn't need to get much.) All I need are fabric markers (the kind for marking patterns), proper sewing shears, and some other odds and ends that I can get at the $1 store. SPEAKING OF SEWING SCISSORS, I just ordered some Ginghers from JoAnn.com. ^_^ I remember Mom had a really nice pair that I kept sneaking and using when I was in middle school...and I'm sure she blames the dullness of the blades on me. 0_0 (Although, if she hasn't gotten them resharpened by now, it's no longer fault. Just saying, Mom.)

I will go back tomorrow to get a couple more things on my supply list, as I have a coupon that I could not use today. ("Savings effective 9/05/2009 >_<)

ALSO! My new job as a Laser Tag Party Host is treating me very well. It's a lot of fun and I meet a lot of nice people and families. What's even cooler is that I'm allowed to play my music during the laser tag games (which awesome, since the music they had before mine was LAME and not good, laser fighting music at all. >_>) AND the synthetic hair in my braids is UV reactive, so they glow UBER BRIGHT under the strobes and black lights. (It was not intentional, but is still cool and the customers get a kick out of it. :-D)

Adrian has moved in with Ryan. It bugged me at first, 'cause I got attached to him being here, but at the same time, he needed to make a change in his life. I hope that Ryan can (physically 8-|) push him into doing more with his life than working minimum wage to support his WoW habit.

In the mean time, I am working (somewhat) toward saving for my own place. My friend just landed a new job, so we're gonna save up to move into a little studio together...at some point in the future, anyway. I JUST finished getting all of my books for school, so I can OFFICIALLY start saving money.

Sooooo.... That's all for now. I gotta go to bed, 'cause I have a class tomorrow morning (which is WHACK, 'cause it's Friday, but whatever).

I promise to update more now that I'm actually DOING something nowadays. 0_0

Later!!!

PS: ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS SOME JOANN GIFT CARDS, BUT SENT TO ME B4 THE END OF OCTOBER, SO I CAN TAE ADVANTAGE OF THE HALLOWEEN SALE BECAUSE THEY SERIOUSLY HAVE SOME AWESOME FABRICS THIS FALL! OMG, THEY'RE SO AWESOME! I GOTTA POST PICS OF THE MUMMY FABRIC I BOUGHT!!! X-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love,
Jazzy

School Days

I'm not one to brag but....okay, I lied. Little Miss Lea Anna got her first stack of papers back from her first week of school. Needless to say Momma is proud. And Dad's head has swelled to epic proportions too.

NTHS Junior News Project for Class

This is Hector's 90s Current Event Project... I've been helping him (A LOT) with it this past week. It still needs bit of editing, but, so far, it came out pretty...amusing. I really wanted to share it with everybody...so enjoy.

The finished version will be just as entertaining... (Hector is putting the finishing touches on it right now. Since I've shown him how to edit video on PowerDirector, he's hving some fun with it.)

FUN FACT: I start my Video Production class at El Camino tomorrow. :-P

Think Shank

Soooo.... As I was waiting in my friend, Sandy's car a few days ago, I got to thinking about my future...'n' crap.

I have come to the conclusion that my life is sometimes like a weird puzzle...and I am a retardedly shaped piece. As a retardedly shaped piece, I feel like I am constantly trying to find a place to fit in, in life. And I don't mean "fit in" in the high school way like, "OMG! I hope people like me..." I mean "fit in" in the way that, I am still trying to find my comfort zone/place in the world.... [Well damn, it makes sense to me...] There are just times when I feel like I'm meant to be somewhere else...doing something else, etc.

As far as school goes, I am officially changing my major. As much as I enjoy Graphic Design, the only reason I chose to make it my major is because I wanted it to be my fall-back career in case I didn't make it in film.(Not to mention, Job Corps would not fund my film education.) But, as time passes, I'm starting to feel more and more like Graphic Design isn't for me...not totally anyway. (Interning at a film company doesn't help either...it actually makes me feel even worse about the issue.) So, once this Spring semester is over, I'm going to get my certificate in GD, transfer my credits to El Camino and change my major to Film/Television (with Fashion Design on the side...for the hell of it).

Unfortunately, I'll be in community college longer, but I don't feel bad about that... As I've said before, I'd rather do it now, than when I'm trying to get my BA 'cause it would cost me more moolah...'n' yada, yada, yada. Besides, it would give me more time to save and work on my portfolio 'n' junk... It also gives me more time to research into art schools... I'm seriously considering the one in Atlanta, GA because I can double major, which kicks ass. So, yeah...Jazzmin the Retarded Puzzle Piece has a lot more "soul" searching 'n' sh** to do...

NE-wayz... On to another revelation: I saw this movie called Freedom Writers some time ago (with Hilary Swank)... It's one of those "white teacher goes to the ghetto and makes a difference movies", but I still liked it and it made me think. I realize that I end up liking movies like that because I know how it feels to have a teacher that opens your mind. Like, Mr. Sherry from Hunters Lane HS in TN...

He was the teacher that got interested in Graphic Design... Since I was (practically) the only student genuinely interested in it, he was always willing to spend extra time teaching me Photoshop 'n' stuff. No mater what retarded thing I wanted to do, he'd sit there and show me step-by-step. Then there was Mr. Brody and (a few of) the other teachers at the New Media Academy in Crenshaw HS (which was the only good thing about that damn school) that got me interested in Film. So yeah...

NE-wayz... Those movies make me think about how some teachers really can make an impact on your life. I think I would like to be a teacher... Not now though...and I'm certainly not gonna be all valiant and try to teach inner-city kids. I mean, when I'm done with my real career (whatever the heck that turns out to be) and want to do something more calm(ish) before I retire...then I'll go be a teacher, especially because I genuinely like helping people (to an extent)'n' stuff.

Also, THANK YOU SO MUCH AUNT TERESA for the iPod!!! It took me awhile to get around to putting songs on it, but now that I have, I'm soooooo happy. I forgot how awesome it was to be able to tune people out... Not having an iPod, after all, makes it harder to ignore Public Transportation douche bags.

And the book you gave me is awesome. I'm 1/3 of the way through it...

That's it for now....

Jazzy Out!

Resolutions Were Made to be Broken

Soooo...

I've been back from TN for a little over a week. (It feels like longer. 0_0)

It was good to see mom again... Hopefully next year will be more eventful though, 'cause being stuck in the house was kinda lame.

Aunt Teresa, I'm sorry that I had to miss your wedding. I was HORIBBLY, UTTERLY bummed that we couldn't go (although it turned out that we COULD have...which was an even bigger burn)that I practically wallowed in disappointment for most of the rest of my time in TN. (Seriously... I did. :-( ) NEXT year, mom and I WILL be there though (even though it won't be for a wedding...*sigh*) because missing family get-togethers is LAME.

-Also, I have to send your x-mas presents via snail-mail now... DAMN I hate going to the post office...

AND NOW FOR MY 2009 RESOLUTIONS!!!

*I'm happy to announce that I started the year off with an internship at a small film/production company called FormTV. (Yay!) I plan to be all up in their grill until I get a part or full-time job from them in the future.(If not, at least the experience will look good on my resume and I can obtain a similar job at a different company.)

*I exit JobCorpse (lol) Feb. 17th! I was nervous about it at first because my living situation/issues were a bit shaky, but I'm actually look forward to leaving... I'll be moving back in with Aunt Jonna and Grandpa temporarily.

I tried to find a roommate to move in with, but since I couldn't this is my only option. However, I'm gonna take Aunt Jonna's advice and try to find a roommate via internet because, although it'd be nice to see her, Adrian, and Hector more, the house is a bit crowded and I need a place closer to work and school. (I'm not trying to bust a 2.5-3 hour commute all the time like Adrian does... I already had to put up with that bull**** when I worked at Joann's and it SUCKS.)

*School has become...a bit complicated for me. Not hard and unbearable...just complicated. I'm one semester away from completing my Graphic Design requirements, but now that I'm almost done, I'm not 100% it's what I want to major in when I go to a 4year. Since I wont have Job Corps to answer too anymore, I'll finally be able to explore other potential majors...which I find exciting, especially since I have all of my General Ed crap out of the way and can just do stuff for fun. I'll probably end up in Junior College for another year or two, but I'd rather take the time to explore my options than do my "soul searching" at a 4year and change my major a bunch of times because that would end up costing be butt-loads of dinero.

In Fall 2009, I'll be enrolling in El Camino college and taking Fashion Design (which I never knew they had... I don't know why LACC doesn't have it!)

*Although I hate slangin' pizzas for a living, I'm obviously stuck with this job for a while longer. *sigh.* I will still continue looking for other part-time employment that is flexable and will put up with my freaky hair colors. 0_0

*Lastly: After putting a lot of thought into the "make your own online business" thing ('cause more people than expected keep suggesting it). I have already cut out some patterns for stuff to sell. I'm gonna start of with hoodies (yeah...I can make those. I'm awesome.) 'n' stuff since it's winter... When I have more time, I'll tackle things like pants and shorts ('cause DAMN they take forever to make).

Other Goals for '09: 1.)Finish my friend, Brigitte's, Luigi dress-I got the top part done... I just need to sew in buttons (which I hate) and finish the skirt (pleats scare me). 2.) Find and affordable room for rent...somewhere that doesn't suck. 3.) Find a productive way to curb my fabric, craft, and movie-buying addiction...s. 4.) I have 4 large bags of fabric and craft stuff. Damnit, I'm gonna make something...s out of all that crap!

2009 Shopping List: iBook with Adobe programs (to work on portfolio's), iPod ('cause I miss having one, damnit!), more of Terry Pratchett's books ('cause I need to read more), a new DVD player ('cause mine is a NAZI and will only play X2, Stardust, and Perfect Creature and I wanna watch more than three damn movies!), my own table that is the proper heigh for sewing (because coffe tables are too low for me to sew or do any kind of work on and I don't want a hunch), and 20-eyelet Doc Martens (though I'll be happy to settle for a cheaper, knock-off).

HAPPY 2009 EVERYBODY! MAY THIS YEAR BE BETTER THAN 2008 (which wasn't really so horrible, except for the job market)!!!!!

Student of the Month

Somehow I missed the bulletin but Lea Anna was named Student of the Month in October.

We also missed the ceremony last night where the gave the medals to all the first quarter honorees since Lea Anna pulled the announcement out of thin air exactly one hour after it started. But no matter, She's still happy as a clam. Lea Anna picked up her medal today and we celebrated with a trip to her favorite place - McDonalds. Needless to say Mom and Dad are super proud. I'll try not to let my head swell up too big.

What's new with Amanda you ask???

So it's been awhile since I've posted and I figured I'd give you guys (girls, whatever...) some pictures to take a gander at...

Shortly after I got back to Atlanta, I started working for a crappy (possibly shady) company, where I spent all day driving around, burning expensive gas. Along the way I saw some interesting things, like this mountain of glass:

This was at a glass recycling plant that I marketed to, and I was amazed at how high this mountain of bottles was.

A few weeks later, I was driving and noticed three stray puppies with their ribs poking out, scavenging for food. I felt so sad when I saw them, I knew they would get hit by a car if they didn't die of starvation first. When I called animal control, they told me they didn't know when they could get out to the area to pick them up, and the puppies might be gone by the time they sent someone. They asked me if there was any way I could bring them in my car, and I replied "I am actually working right now, and I'm wearing slacks and heels and I don't think I'd even be able to get them in my car." So what did I do? Pulled over and went after the puppies. They barked at me from a distance, too nervous to come close. I couldn't think of a way to lure them into my backseat, until I remembered that I had a small bag of potato chips in my console from when I had gotten Subway a few weeks earlier. Sure enough, with some coaxing and the help of salt & vinegar chips, I was able to corral all three pups in my back seat. Then the journey began...

I didn't realize that Douglas County animal control was in East Alabama, or I might have thought better of my undertaking. Apparently, one out of three dogs experience car sickness after eating salt and vinegar potato chips. That is exactly what I found out, when halfway there one of the cute little buggers yacked on my back seat. It was okay, they managed to clean up their mess by the time we arrived... which leads to the best part of the story...
When we got there, I went inside and told the workers who I was, and two ladies came outside to get the dogs. Guess they figured that since I was such a helpful person, bringing the pups there and all, that I wouldn't mind helping get them inside. Lady #1 pulled out puppy #1 and handed it to Lady #2, and she took the pup inside. Then Lady #1 pulled out puppy #2, who apparently had managed to drink his weight in fluids right before I rescued them. He tinkled a few drops on my car seat as she was passing him off to me, and then let a few more drops go on my leg. I walked the rest of the way holding him out three feet in front of me- I was supposed to be working after all, and my nice slacks were being used as a puppy pad. When I got to the door, I had to hold the dog like a football in one arm so I could open the door with my free hand, and that is when he decided to finish answering nature's call. The dog peed all over my leg. Guess no good deed goes unpunished, right? I heard through some neighbors a few weeks ago that the dogs were still in the pound, but were no longer starving. I hope they have each found a loving forever-home, even the one who peed on me...

So you can see I spent the time at my job well. Which is good, because I hated the place and no longer work there. Now I have been unemployed for almost 5 weeks... I was scared when I didn't find work after the 2nd week, the 3rd really made me nervous, and the 4th week just plain sucked. Now I have decided that God may not want me in the staffing business. So back to school I go. Only this time, I am not stopping until some guy wearing a floor-length black dress with a silly hat gives me a degree so I can make the big bucks. If I work hard and do well, I can even transfer to GA Tech and get my master's in 5 years. So there it is, I have detailed the beginning stages of my get-rich-slow scheme. Not as exciting as getting rich quick, but I don't think that was in the cards for me anyways...

Hey School Girl!

It turned out that Lea Anna's first day of school was not the same as Daniel's, they started today. As of last night She politely informed us that She wanted to be called "School Girl". She loves her teacher and is still excited over her first day. "I made two new friends and I got to go to the playground and we colored and we did....!" Her enthusiasm is so contagious, it's even improved Daniel's attitude about school a little bit. Can I go to kindergarten too?

Quick update!

Hello, Family!

Just to keep everyone "In the Know"...

I finally got a second job! I work at a candy store now as well as a pizza place (but, GOD how I hate working at the pizza place!).

I'm also saving money to get an appartment with my friend (but, that probably won't happen because as I type this, she's on MySpace instead of looking for a job...sigh).

AND, for the past couple of days I've been chatting with Justin! (Yay!) He says he wants to save money so he can visit family, go to LA, and other stuff.

But he really wants to see family.

I hope he can save his money and make it out to visit Georgia or Tennesee this Christmas.

OMG! I ALMOST FORGOT TO SAY that I've been taking Jazz Dance class and it's going pretty well. I learned a whole dance to a Madonna song and got to help my group coreograph part of the dance. It's really fun (though a bit frustrating sometimes... One of the girls in my group is a idea-nazi.) and I've discovered that I'm actually NOT horrible at dancing.

I just can't do turns very well. I need to work on my balance. 0_o

I think I've Died and Went to H-E-Double Hockey Sticks

Otherwise known as Walmart during Tennessee's tax free Weekend. It's hot, muggy, crowded and the parking lot is filled with psychos. Much like the Kroger parking lot under a snow advisory, just much warmer. They are even more demented in the school supply aisle. I am usually smarter than this but the end of summer vacation just kind of creeped up on me and all of the sudden it's like "Oh my God, they are starting school next week and Lea Anna needs boosters and they've grown out of all their clothes". But it's DONE! And the kids will appreciate not having to go to school naked. I will appreciate not having the front door left open every 10 minutes (as a matter of fact I am cooling the whole darn neighborhood) and having to chase flies out of the house. Now that this last hurrah is over, the kids celebrated by running through the sprinklers and suckering me into baking cookies. I will sleep good tonight. Especially after a nice warm chocolate butterscotch cookie. My youngest little ham insisted I video tape her and put it on YouTube. She may be a touch immodest but She's young and cute enough to get away with it.

J'ai un B en Francais!!!

Je suis tres heureux!!! (That means "I am very happy!" Lol!)

I am SO STOKED that I passed that class this semester!

When I first took French I in Fall '07, I got an F. It was, of course, my fault because I put my job with Cirque first and didn't take the time to study.

This year, I studied MY A** off and I GOT A FRIGGIN' B!!!

YAY, FOR MOI! (Though "moi" actually means "mine in French... Just a fun fact for ya!)

FYI Though: I still suck at French conversation and I can't just start speaking the language off of the top of my head, so don't be a smart-alec and ask me to "Say something in French." (I still have a lot of trouble conjugating certain verbs 'n' what-not.) I'm just thankful I was able to memorize enough to pass the class.

Anywayz...yeah...I'm just SUPER ecstatic because going from an F to a B is pretty amazing to me. Now, my GPA is a step closer to being a 3.0. Pretty soon, I'll be on the honor roll. (Yay, again!)

Now I just have to bring up my grades in Economics and Political Science. (*SNORE!*)

Schools Out!

Technically it was out last Friday, and while my cupboard is bare from a week of Daniel snacking, and this itty bitty little pool takes up my whole patio you sure won't hear Him or Lea Anna complain.

7+7+7

I TURN 21 SOON! WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!

I'm SOOOOOO excited! My friends and are going to get dressed up and go bowling.

I even bought a fancy dress off of Ebay for the night. (I'll be sure to post pictures for everyone!)

Mom, this is the URL to my birthday wishlist:
http://www. amazon. com/gp/registry/wishlist/17YPY9ZZW5T67

Also, Summer Session for LACC is coming up in a couple of weeks.

I'm going to be retaking my Math 115 (gah, I hate math!) and I'll be taking a Digital Photography class. My other glass are gym classes because I want to get in shape, especially because I'm taking dance classes in the Summer and Fall.

My gym classes are weight training (to tone muscles and what-not) and Circuit Training (which, I believe, is cardio work-outs). I'm also taking Jazz Dance this Summer and Bellydance in the Fall.

I can't wait 'til school starts up again!

Artsy-Fartsy Awesomness.....IN 3D!!!!!

This semester, in one of my art classes, I have been learning how to illustrate and render characters and objects in 3D.

Here are some of my CrEaTiOnZ!

Title: Unwelcomed Visitor

Title: Anarchy in the Pond

Title: Dragon World

and last, but NOT LEAST............

Title: THE MAN-ZORD
There is a long and interesting explanation to his name and existence, which I will reveal at a later time.

YAY! That was my art..... I'm sad that this semester is ending; I'll miss making all these 3D wonders. My teacher is really cool though, and will let me audit the class to learn how to animate them and build my portfolio.

Also, this summer, I'll be taking a Digital Photography class and working with fancy expensive cameras. w00t!!!

Killz ur Eyez!

i designed a pattern for class using Photoshop... Yay!

I'm happy with the result. It looks like kArAzY wrapping paper for a boy's b-day or something...

One of my classmates did a really pretty, girly one. I wish I could post it.

Hers probably wouldn't hurt your eyes if you stared at it too long. <8-|

Artsy-Fartsy Fun!!!

Here are some projects I did last Fall in my Digital Imaging class ('cause I know you all love looking at them)!

*Mardi Gras Mask; Title: Money, Money, Money. I got the idea from the movie Cabaret, along with an actual mask that I made. The main objective of the project was to show off our ability to use layer-masks, 'n' what-not.

*Pattern-Making Project; Title: The Mad Pattern. My theme was a Mad Scientist's Lab and all of his creations. I made each individual pattern and put them together to make the giant W.

The titles of the patterns are as follows (L-R): "It's Alive!" Text, "DNA", "Vile Vial", "Brain-In-Jar", "Franken-Cog Fishken", "It's my creation! Is it real?!" Text, "Mad, Mad Scientists", "Bad Brew", "Lab Rats", and "Franken-Babe".

*U.S. Stamp Final; Title: Le Cirque Stamp. It was inspired by Cirque du Soleil. The woman is an "Aerial Silk" artist. (It's hard to explain, but if you look it up, it's really cool.)

I couldn't make and actual Cirque du Soleil stamp because of copyright issues. (My teacher wanted it to be purely original... I don't blame her.) So, in the end, I came up with "Le Cirque du Reves" wich means "The Circus of Dreams."

Ta-Da! That's all for now!

Next time I post artwork, I'll post the infamous "Wet, fighting Hot Dog"!!!

Yay! Responsibility!

Sooooooooooooooo.............

I started school again, of course. Job Corps gave me an extension, so I can stay and finish getting my AA.

I'm taking 2 art classes (Digital Imaging and 3D rendering), French, Algebra, and Flamenco... Yeah! I'm taking Flamenco!

I need 3 Phys. Ed. units for my AA, so I decided to take dance classes. It;s sad to admit, but whenever I go dancing I'm drunk, so I don't know if I'm a good dancer or not... Also, I've always wanted to learn to dance. When I'm done with Flamenco, I'm gonna take Social Dance (which is swing, latin, and ballroom), and Bellydancing.

Also, I GOT A JOB! w00t!!!

I'm going to be a cashier at Cafe Pucciani. It's a Pizzaria at the Universal Citywalk. It pays $8 an hr. but they give you chances to advance. Another cool part about working there is that you get your fav. Universal movie on your badge under your name. I picked ARMY OF DARKNESS. The chic who hired me (her name is Sandra and she's awesome) has TO WONG FOO on her badge.

I can't wait to start work!

Just when you thought I died and went...uh...Somewhere

Sooooo….

What’s been up with Jazz?

I want to say, “nothing much,” but that wouldn’t be true. It seems like “nothing much” to me just because what I do, I do every day, so….yeah.

Well, I became a Corteo Follower and still work at Cirque du Soleil. I’ve been carpooling with my friends and co-workers CJ, Monserrat, Dijanna (I think that’s how her name is spelled), and Fatirah.

I don’t really know what else to say about that, other than I LOVE my job and I’m happy I didn’t have to quit after Los Angeles.
One of the coolest things about being a Follower is that I’ve gotten more chances to talk to the performers. A few of them are really cool. I even bought this guy named Hideto (he’s a performer in Corteo) a bottle of Sailor Jerrys Rum to share with Sergai (a juggler). (I got really buzzed at a BBQ Corteo had and kept bragging about how awesome it was, so I got him one.)

Corteo’s next stop is in San Diego and I really want to follow the tour there. I’m going to help Fatirah, Amber, and Monserrat find a place to rent in San Diego, so that I can go there on weekends and work. It will only be for a little more than a month…2 at the most. Once Corteo is out of San Diego, I will no longer be a Follower and will be forced to find a real job. *sigh* However…

Cirque du Soleil’s KooZa will be in LA in 2009. Since I loved working at Coreto so much, I’m going to save my money, so that when KooZa comes to LA, I’ll be able to follow the tour for a few cities.

N-E-wayz… Enough about my job! My classes at LACC are going good. I’m struggling in French Language, but that’s it. The worst I could do in that class is get a D. I would rather NOT have a D, but hey, some things just don’t come easy the first time. I’m going to re-take it in the spring. If I can manage a B in French next year, then I’ll feel better about taking German Language (since I’m sure it’s a lot more difficult).

My art classes are great. One of them can be boring at times, but only because she makes us do retarded exercises before we do our main projects. I can’t wait ‘til I’m finished… I’ll be sure to post a bunch of them for my loverly friends to see! (Besides, they’re way better than the Parrot and Gay Potato that I posted awhile back.)

PS: November hasn’t been a great month for shows… All the good ones that DID happen, I had to miss because of work…and I got sick at some point, which was very lame.
